Eze breeze windows reviews

I would be glad to give a testimonial about this product as well as recommend you to any potential customer. Thanks again for all of your assistance in making this a positive experience. Thanks for the great product and helpful guidance on our project.

We love the eze breeze windows--only wish we'd found them earlier! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you and your family. Just wanted to send you some pictures of the wonderful Ezebreeze windows we installed in our new Screened-in-porch.

We LOVE them Thank you so much. All the best to you and your business Just wanted to forward you a couple of pictures of our new room.

Not a fan, in spite of other's good reviews. We live in Alabama and had 13 windows that got mostly all day sun and I think that is what caused the plastic parts to deteriorate.

I installed EZ Breeze windows for a customer and they are not happy with the way they open and close. EZ Breeze asked me to send them videos of the customer opening and closing them. My guess is they are understaffed in the claim department They have held up well but I am searching for someone to tell me if it is difficult to replace the windows with traditional glass, do you just measure and order the same as you would for the house windows?

I see people talk about the additional weight but I could have chosen glass at initial build so the room should be strong enough?

I also want to replace the doors, again the question just any new door will work.. Really really would appreciate any advice or suggestions. I use my room year round, I keep it heated but think traditional glass and new doors will cut heating cost which really isn't too bad but it is a bit drafty.

I have had these Windows for over 10 years. I used to use the room 3 seasons but these do not hold any heat at all unless it is quite hot. As to the recommended product to clean them, I had nothing but smears. My friend who cleans windows for high-end homes and also some government buildings told me to use distilled water, and for me it works, the best. They are definitely not pet-proof. They look nice, but are not all that easy. I've had them for several years in a 3 season sunroom and regret buying them.

Ours have been very difficult to clean and keep clean in spite of videos showing how 'easy' it is , they don't do well in strong winds, have become hard to open over time, and we have had no good way to get help when we had questions. Won't buy again and don't recommend.

Can i buy it in a roll? We decided not to buy the four-panel EZ Breeze windows after checking out our neighbors'. Instead, We're going with plain old screen panels for all summer, but are looking for a storm panel option - not for heat retention, just to keep snow drifts off the floor and furniture over the long VT winters.

Mine are vynal but probably thicker than you would buy on a roll. I never bought vynal like that so can't help you. My neighbor made his own out of pexiglass to be used as you mentioned. I wish we had done different. Would never buy again. Kristin M. I have large horizontal sliding Eze Breeze windows and love them. Had them for a year and a half so far and they definitely do the job of keeping pollen Raleigh, NC pollen We don't get too much snow here and the temps in winter get cold, but not too bad I ordered them custom sized and installed myself.

Had to do some custom cutting to the tracks after they arrived since either my measurements were terrible or I just didn't fully understand the mounting directions. I thought they'd come in full square frames but each side top, bottom, left, right all mount separately which actually worked out for me since my screened porch isn't exactly square long story.

Overall, highly recommended and they look as new as the day I bought them. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment. Definitely beats the large clear vinyl tarps I used to use! I hate them. They are a pain in the neck to clean—the tracks get grimy and removing the dirt is tedious. And they are complicated to open and close because of the way the panels stack behind each other. A panel cannot be fully opened until the one behind it is fully opened.

Awful, just awful! These came on a sunroom on the back of the house when we bought it. Oh yeah, and if distilled water is the way to go for cleaning, why do they even sell this overpriced can of vinyl spray cleaner which, yes, is not only USELESS, but makes them WORSE - even worse than the better Woolite and water method we once tried?

They are maybe a small cut above and WAY more expensive just screening alone room is horribly drafty and gets way too humid - I have 2 dehumidifiers running constantly, but in the winter they have to turn off, and we still see very high humidity at temps under Summers are unbearably hot greenhouse , but if I had REAL windows, we might be able to air condition?

With this drafty mess, we'd be air conditioning the whole yard for naught but sometimes run a little heater to help with the humidity and avoid freezing. Of course, the sweep is junk rubber and tears on the door handle end as it slowly slides and gets caught when closing, or when trying to re-slide it back where it belongs I have to keep a bag of expensive spares ready to replace - more wasted money and time. The materials are so flimsy that you're better to get the real deal windows.

Next chance I get, real windows and doors all the way! I feel the pain of everything you said. I have 12 lathe windows so they are a lot of work. I wish we had paid the extra money for actual windows. Update to my post of over 10 years ago. We installed these in the summer of and they are still holding up fine for our use. We're many high wind storms, and even had an F0 tornado rip through here two years ago and a ferocious 65mph wind storm a week or two ago, but never any problems.

Here is the original blood sweat and tears story of building our three-season room. Indem Sie weiterhin auf der Website surfen bzw. Mehr erfahren. Small-Space Living. Kitchen and Dining Seating. Living Room and Entryway Seating. Sign In. Join as a Pro. Houzz TV.

I think Design Freedom has covered all the bases. This will reduce the amount of heat produced in the house by UV radiation that is the stuff that makes a rock warm up in sun light. If you do not have the budget for the very expensive glass windows, you may have to alter your "wants" vs. Even in cooler climates, wall-wall or floor to ceiling windows do not make for very comfortable living environments too hot during the day and very cold during the night There is a reason why "desert dwellings" don't have a lot of opennings.

They are small single windows. One in each room. I have not moved in yet. Waiting on vacancy. Maybe in Oct. I have noticed in The Traditional Home magazine I haven't seen them. Wow clearly we need to all work together.
