Vehicle wrap design programs

I recently purchased a Mutoh and scd cutter to get serious about the vehicle wrap business. I also purchased Cadlink's Signlab to rip, print, and cut for that new equipment. Learning Signlab is like learning another language after 15 years of Adobe.

I am looking for opinions from guys with experience like mine about whether or not I should even try to learn Signlab and just continue using AI and Photoshop to design my work.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experiences. One more question to start a debate Bigdawg Just Me. Illustrator and Photoshop. Joe Diaz New Member. Corel Draw. But that is what I think. If you are familiar with Adobe products just keep using them.

A lot of wrap designers use Adobe. I would guess the majority do. I appreciate the opinions. So does that mean the only thing I need Signlab for is to rip, print and cut? Just bring in the. I paid a lot for that software, I am starting to wonder if it was necessary. The Mutoh came with Flexi 8 but the dealer said it was bare necessities for rip and print. Click to expand Well, basically we used ai and ps to do all design and exported to versaworks for rip, print and cut Great selling tool and fun to play with as well.

Running a professional vehicle wrap shop has its challenges, one of them is taking the client through the creative process and asking them to have faith and to visualize in their mind what their new wrap will look like.

Zeno bridges this gap, providing our customers with an in-depth preview of their new vehicle wrap through an interactive, fun and collaborative approach to vehicle wrap design and color selection. A 3D realistic model in an immersive environment with all the tools at their fingertips to custom create their dream car far outweighs a 2D templated presentation. Our clients are sold on the experience alone! Where to begin As a custom vinyl wrap studio in Silicon Valley, we try to provide clients with cutting edge, custom enhancements to their vehicles.

This software allows us to place the client into virtual reality, customize their vehicle in real - time, and is worth its weight in gold.

We highly recommend both this software and the company that made it. Zeno turns the process of customizing a vehicle into an interactive fun experience that eliminates the guess work while opening up new doors of possibilities. You can also find this curve at the end of the object list in the Object Manager. The PowerClip frame is indicated by the large X. Now we can create or bring in the elements we want to appear on the vehicle: logo, phone number, catch phrase, clip art - you name it. Select the first element to move - in this case the stylized houses along the bottom. When you complete the move, the objects are trimmed along the edges of the PowerClip.

Moving subsequent objects into the frame works the same way - just be sure to press the W key while moving objects, to place them within the PowerClip.
